There's nothing more magical than seeing your beautiful bridal glow appear in your wedding photos, but the pure joy of marrying your best friend may not be the only thing needed to achieve this result. In addition to your dreamy wedding dress, your wedding skincare routine could work wonders in helping you look and feel amazing. Taking care of your skin is about the products you use to compliment your health and wellness lifestyle choices.
Start your pre-wedding skincare routine at least six months prior so it’s as good as it can be for the big day. Once the final wedding countdown has started, use an intensely nourishing overnight cream for extra hydration and apply a brightening spot treatment to any pesky blemishes that crop up.
Take time to relax and unwind in the lead up to your day. Just 15 minutes of any strengthening, stretching or mindfulness exercise is not only good for your mental and physical health. You’ll see the positive effects on your skin too.
One tip that fellow wedding photographer Cailyn of Cailyn Whitman Photography tells her couples is to be careful with spray tans. "They can look orange on camera and make things harder on post production for photographers. Also, don’t ride on the assumption that your photographer can just “edit it out.” Small blemishes are okay, but wrinkled clothing is not! Most photographers require an additional fee for retouching since it adds time to editing."
Why does food that's bad for always taste so GOOD? Adapting your diet to a healthier lifestyle that works for you can be hard, but it's always a great place to start. Cut back on the wine and introduce more water, wholefoods and vegetables into your diet. educing your sugar intake will also ensure fresh and clear skin that’s ready for your bridal beauty crew. The week before your wedding, avoid salty foods and carbohydrates where possible as they can cause your body to retain water and give your skin a "puffy" look.
