The Perfect Fall Weekend Getaway in Seattle

Weekends are for exploring. And by exploring, I mean breaking every routine possible and doing something different. This could mean going somewhere new with someone new, or in my case, somewhere new with a long time friend. I've always wanted to explore the PNW area, and Seattle seemed like the perfect starting point.

The city has so many local attractions and natural landscapes in close proximity it was hard to choose where to start. The fall colors in Seattle were amazing, but they had an early snow this year, so close hiking attractions like Mt. Rainer and Olympic National Park were already starting to limit visiting areas of the park. With that in mind, we focused our sites on local attractions: The Space Needle, Pike Place Market, the Seattle Great Wheel, and Breakfast Bitch (excuse my french, but trust me, the food was beyond worthy of such a killer name). Speaking of food, we also enjoyed an unforgettable dinner at an Argentinian Steakhouse downtown. Our airbnb was in Burien, just minutes from the airport and downtown Seattle, so naturally, we walked around this quaint area as well. Seattle, with the addition of Vancouver and Portland, are definitely deserving of a second visit.

My favorite photos of the trip are below and you can see the full gallery on behance:
